Evidence based psychotherapies are used through an emotion focussed lens on the path to improved mental health. Informed through cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), emotion focussed therapy (EFT), internal family systems (IFS), somatic therapy (ST), and other approaches which are integrated to tailor the therapy to your unique needs.
Jen helps adults discover and develop ways to cope with life and deepen their self-awareness. She teaches skills to handle tough situations, make healthy decisions, and achieve personal goals. Jen's approach allows clients to better understand themselves and those around them as they embark on a journey to living their best life.
Jen provides a safe space for teens ages 13-17 to talk and unravel their thoughts and feelings. She helps them learn effective ways to cope with emotions, improve relationships, explore what they want from life, and gain confidence as they discover their place in the world.
Anxiety may manifest in many ways, such as irritability, worry, concentration issues, physical symptoms, and more. Overthinking may lead to sadness, feelings of self-consciousness and/or hypervigilance, and impact many aspects of your life.
Therapy may help you find the root cause, learn skills to cope, and improve emotional well-being.

Low mood may involve sadness, hopelessness, low self-esteem, lack of motivation and more. Difficulty in making decisions and feeling stuck could lead to guilt and hopelessness, and make day to day life feel hard.
Therapy may help you to identify thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behaviour to develop strategies that will reinforce positive activities.
There is always hope, sadness does not define you.
Trauma may show up as panic, upset, sleep issues, aggression, fatigue or other physical and emotional symptoms. Whether from a one-time event, or ongoing past or present issues, many people have some form of trauma in their life.

Burnout is a result of prolonged stress, and could involve exhaustion, emotional strain, interpersonal distress, feelings of emptiness and more. Burnout may be related to work, caregiving, or any stressful activity.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a neurodevelopmental condition that may involve inattention, hyperactivity, impulsiveness, and emotional issues. Symptoms may include difficulty focussing, distraction or forgetfulness. Emotional challenges may involve poor social skills and reduced self-esteem.
Therapy may help you to change thought patterns, learn social skills, and find balance through a variety of strategies.
Develop a sense of freedom as you as you move toward success.
Emotional challenges present in different ways, from feeling sad, angry and fatigued, to being difficult, distracted, and judgmental. Those who often engage in conflict may withdraw, act out, or be impulsive.
Therapy may help you to tend to feelings, increase social skills, learn to be responsive, and take on a new perspective.

Grief presents in different ways, mentally, physically, and emotionally. From changes in energy, sleep, or appetite, to feelings of anger, denial, or depression. Grief may be devastating and lead to feelings of deep sadness.
Therapy may help you to adjust to the loss in a quiet space, separate emotions, and understand what you are going through as you grieve in a healthy way.
While the past cannot be changed, learn to manage the grief that comes with loss.
Screen overuse is excessive use of screens, whether it be the use of a phone, TV, video games or other. Overuse of screens may become a problem and result in anxiety, loss of social connection, or irritability.
Therapy may help you to identify the issue by tracking habits, schedule breaks, engage in other activities and find balance through talk therapy.
Be in charge of screens so they are not in charge of you.
Falling out with those who you were close with may lead to feelings of rejection, lack of purpose, communication struggles or fear.
Therapy may help you to understand your situation, practice acceptance, and regulate your nervous system as you set boundaries with or without a particular friend, family member or social group.
One’s greatest strength may be letting go of people you thought would be with you for a lifetime.
Spiritual awakening involves feelings of connection to a grand purpose. When inner knowledge and outer experience do not match, something may feel off.
Therapy may help you to break through the disconnect and find your true path, understand the feeling that there is more to life, and be truly present to the peace that exists here and now.
